A renowned expert from Mysuru has inaugurated a free energy efficiency demonstration centre to raise public awareness about the importance of energy conservation. The centre, which is open to the public, aims to educate visitors on simple and effective ways to reduce energy consumption and promote sustainable living. The expert, who has been working in the field of energy efficiency for several years, has set up the centre to provide hands-on experience and demonstrations of energy-saving techniques and technologies.
The centre will showcase various energy-efficient devices and systems, including solar panels, LED lighting, and insulation materials. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of using these devices and how they can be implemented in their daily lives. The expert believes that by providing a platform for people to learn about energy efficiency, the centre will play a significant role in promoting the Karnataka government’s initiatives, such as the Belaku (Light) programme, which aims to reduce energy consumption and promote the use of renewable energy sources.
According to the expert, the centre will also provide information on various schemes and programmes launched by the government, including the Sakala (Services) scheme, which provides citizens with access to various government services, and the Tambaku Bittaku (Quit Tobacco) campaign, which aims to reduce tobacco consumption. The expert hopes that the centre will inspire people to take small steps towards reducing their energy consumption and promoting sustainable living, which will ultimately contribute to a larger positive impact on the environment.
